The Influence of Filtration Anisotropy on the Development of Sandstone Reservoirs in West siberian Oil and Gas Fields

Abstract

The paper deals with evaluation of the horizontal permeability anisotropy in the Jurassic reservoirs in oil deposit (Tomsk region). Hydrocarbon reservoirs heterogeneity studying was made possible by complex research with using paleomagnetic oriented core samples. To determine the value of the anisotropy were compared practical and estimated indicators of water cut in the field. Based on the obtained values of the horizontal permeability anisotropy was made field model. This model gives an elliptical water flood front to wells and it's the closest to the real geological and hydrostatic model of the deposit.
