Abstract
The results of measuring the heat conductivity of deposits sampled from the heating surfaces of various types of boilers burning Kansk-Achinsk coals are presented. A universal curve showing the heat conductivity of the deposits as a function of their SO3 content was constructed on the basis of measurement data; regions are singled out that are typical for four kinds of deposits: loose, sulfate-bonded, slag, and ferrous.
