Abstract

It was shown that additions of glycols and PEG-600 increase the rate of adiabatic radical copolymerisation of acrylamide and N, N-dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate sulphate in aqueous solutions, while the introduction of glycerin lowers the rate of this process. Use of alcohol additives improves the technology for producing the investigated copolymeric cationic flocculant.
