The conversion of low alkanes C2-C4 under conditions of barrier discharge in the presence of catalysts

Abstract

As known, one of promising ways of C2-C4 olefins production is the treatment of casing head gases. The degree of conversion of casing head gases C2-C4 and the selectivity of products formation are investigated with and without catalysts. As shown, the conversion of casing head gas C2-C4 under conditions of barrier discharge on ferroelectric ceramics using Pd/SiO2 and Pr/SiO2 catalysts can be an efficient process of low olefins production. The resin and carbon black formation can be minimized by the selection of corresponding catalysts.
