The control of dispersion composition of electric explosive powder of aluminum oxide

Abstract

It is shown the possibility of aluminum oxide ultrafine powder production under aluminum wires electric explosion in inert gas atmosphere or by aluminum particles oxidation in water. The value of specific surface area of initial Al powder was 6,5 m2/g, and that of aluminum oxide ultrafine powder reaches 300 m2/g. A possibility of dispersity increase of an aluminum oxide powder in electric explosion of aluminum conductors is considered.
