The automation of the procedures of educational progress assessment as a method of education quality improving

Abstract

System of education in Russia is presently reforming. Accelerately developing educational technologies oriented to forming the habit of self-education and self-evolution of pupils require the up-to-date monitoring forms and methods which can be able to indicate the pupils' problem zones. Information system created and described by authors allows to process considerable data arrays of test answers on-the-fly (automatize the process of mass test) as well as to generate the list of student's skills (habits, knowledge) required to form the proper competence. In the article there are described the basic elements of this system and it's advantages, based on application the new methods of educational measuring. Applying the original measuring methods in conjunction with up-to-date automation tools allows to provide student with the actual information about his universal educational skills level and due to it allows to improve his education efficiency.
