Abstract

The kinetics of yield-point development in solid Cu-Al solutions under deformation at various deformation temperatures has been studied. The nature of the diffusion-strengthening processes which lead to the appearance of the yield point in these alloys, and the particular features of the effect in polycrystals are expounded.
