Texture method of studying the resistance properties of disperse-filled elastomers

Abstract

A texture method of estimating the resistance properties of carbon-black-filled elastomers is suggested and tested. It is demonstrated that the entropy of a texture parameter histogram can be used to identify regularities in the structure formation of filled composite materials and to describe quantitatively their resistance properties.
