System for the parameter control and stabilization of a Cherenkov detector of extensive air showers

Abstract

Hardware and functional possibilities are described of a system for control and stabilization of parameters of the photometric channels of Cherenkov detectors of extensive air showers. Results of system operation in complex climatic weather conditions are described. It is shown that the system provides for prolonged stability of parameters of amplitude-measuring channels in the limits of 2% and the accuracy of time interval measurements of 0.2 ns. It is noted that at present the parameter monitoring requires about 10% of data acquisition time.
