System for stabilization of the voltage value and frequency of microHPP with asymmetric ballast control

Abstract

Effective method is described for stabilization of the value and frequency of voltage in the autonomous electric power supply system supplied from a microHPP. The method consists in control of the electric power of the system by means of an additional ballast load. The proposed method and algorithm of its realization permit to obtain a simple design of a microHPP with good quality of output voltage. The standard electric heaters are used as ballast.
