Abstract

Reactions of acetylenic derivatives of substituted pyrroles, pyrazole, and carbazole with tetracyanoethylene in organic solvents were studied. Unsaturated heteryltetracyano derivatives in which an unsaturated substituetnt containing four CN groups is conjugated with the heteroring through the ring carbon atom were prepared, and their sensitizing properties with respect to photoconducting organic polymers were studied.
