Abstract
Data on structure formation in austenitic steel samples by electron beam wire-feed manufacturing have been obtained. Structural characterization demonstrates a complex and heterogeneous character of the material structure. In all cases, regardless of the manufacturing parameters, the material of the samples is represented by a dendritic structure. The structure of the samples shows a strong dependence of the metal microstructure on the 3D-printing parameters; e.g., the thickness of the metal layers changes depending on the parameters of the printing process.
