Abstract

Structure and properties of the pearlitic class steels obtained by friction welding in temperature range of near-phase transformations are investigated. It's shown that in near-butt zone because of multiple material adhesion seizing and breaking off and its plastic deformation the intensive metal agitation occurs with forming its finely divided pearlitic structure. It provides high operating properties of bimetal articles.
