Structure and properties of corrosion-resistant coatings deposited by electron-beam facing in air

Corrosion-resistant coatings deposited by the method of electron-beam facing in air are studied. It is shown that the properties of the coatings depend on the content of chromium in them, on the rate of cooling of the deposited metal, and on the presence of residual quenching stresses.
