Abstract

The conditions under which generalized differential equations describing processes in signal generators have solutions exhibiting stochastic oscillations are derived. Constraints for the form of nonlinear function needed to obtain random oscillations with uniform probability density and a given amplitude-correlation function are determined. Designs for random-signal generators are presented.
