Abstract

The kinetic equation method is used to investigate the stimulated radiation of a radius-bounded electron beam, propagating in a resonant system in the presence of a longitudinal magnetic field and the field of a pumping E-wave. It is shown that in the case of cyclotron resonance with the combination wave efficient radiation of E- and H-waves is possible. The excitation conditions, the radiation parameters and the starting currents as a function of the beam parameters are determined.
