In this paper some improvements are considered for separate units of the accelerator. A feed circuit for the synchrotron electromagnet, able to produce unipolar pulses, was realized and tested. A new rf cavity with a capacitance part in the form of coaxial cylinders was installed into the synchrotron. This eliminated modulation on the envelope of the rf accelerating voltage. A particular case of injection was studied when electrons are kept within the operation space by means of an additional eddy field until the rf voltage in the cavity gap is established.
