Some aspects of model for calculation of the radiation extinction in layered medium

Abstract

This paper discusses some of the light scattering characteristics that should be considered for modeling the radiation extinction. It is shown that extinction characteristics can vary considerably depending on the shape, size, refractive index, particle orientation and polarization radiation.
