Abstract
In the paper, the special features of using superfine powder metals prepared by the electric explosion method in powder metallurgy and ceramic technologies are considered. A possibility of activating processes of sintering and synthesis of some complex oxides and silicates was shown. The effect of metallic additives on hardness, strength, and other properties of the resulting materials was established. Reinforced powder and monolithic compositions were prepared under conditions of combustion of an oxide-metal mixture.
