Abstract
A modern small-size betatron for flaw detection consists of four units: a radiator, a power supply unit, a control panel and a remote dosimeter. The dimensions and weight of the betatron unit allows its transportation with any transport means. It can be fed both from stationary industrial mains and from self-contained sources with the nominal power not less than 3 kW. The basic models of small-size betatrons are betatrons MIB-4 and MIB-6. The principal customers of these units are enterprises of heavy and chemical engineering industries, building companies and military customers.
