Abstract
A mathematical combustion model is given for intumescent fireproofing materials that takes into account the main physico-chemical processes running in combustion of such the materials. Minimal number of the empirical constants determined under the conditions close to modeled ones is used in the model. The numerical analysis results are in good agreement with experimental temperature values at the boundary 'intumescent material-protected structure'.
