Abstract
Cylinder consists of a system made up of 13 individual collectors that are assembled in one evacuated housing. The device is designed for time measurements of the current-density distribution over the cross section of a beam. The range of measurable current densities is 0. 15-200 kA/cm**2, and the measurable beam diameter is up to 6 cm. Results are presented of measurements of the current density in the beam of the high-current Tonus accelerator.
