Resonant diffraction radiation from an ultrarelativistic particle moving close to a tilted grating

Abstract

A simple model to calculate the resonant diffraction radiation (RDR) characteristics from a tilted grating is introduced. By using this model, it is demonstrated that quasimonochromatic maxima appear in the RDR spectrum, and their characteristics are determined by the angle between the grating plane and electron pulse.
