Abstract
A study was made of the spatial distribution of mineralisation in relatively stratified terrigenous-volcanogenic units, faults of various orders and intrusive bodies paragenetically associated with the mineralisation. The types of ore fields were identified: 1) the quartz-vein-stockwork type, 2) the disseminated-sulphidic type in carbonaceous terrigenous units, 3) the combined type. It was established that the deposits form a single genetic sequence, with a vertical ore zonality expressed in the regular distribution of disseminated, stockwork and vein types in the ore-magmatic column. All the ore types were formed in specific metasomatite facies against a background of low gold resources in the enclosing carbonaceous rocks. -P.Cooke
