Abstract
1. Polymorphic transitions during heating of artificial and natural quartz specimens in a vacuum are accompanied by an elevated electromagnetic pulse intensity. 2. The EMP intensity in the phase transition region during heating of a natural quartz specimen exposed to electrons is higher by an order than in unexposed quartz. 3. The beginning and ending of polymorphic transformations of quartz during heating of rock specimens containing quartz are accompanied by an elevated EMP intensity and a maximum value of the current recorded during measurement of the electrical conductivity.
