Abstract

The effect is studied of a nuclear reactor radiation on the resonant frequency of piezoelements of quartz resonators employing 6 mm-diameter quartz plates. Mathematical model is presented making it possible to predict the changes in resonant frequency under the irradiation of the plate by the 10**1**5-10**1**8 neutron/cm**2 fluences.
