Prospects of using zeolite rocks of Siberia in silicate materials

Abstract

The results of integrated studies of zeolite rocks from the Sakhaptinskoe and Kholinskoe deposits are presented. A set of methods including petrography, x-ray phase, differential-thermal and chemical analysis are used to identify the relative content of minerals in the zeolite rocks. The prospects of using clinoptilolite-bearing zeolite materials in mixed gypsum-zeolite, zeolite-magnesium, and lime-zeolite binders are determined.
