Abstract
The study is aimed at investigating synthesis of ceramic pigments of diopside structure from talc. Two reactions of substitution resulting in the pigments of diopside structure are considered. It is shown that the use of natural talc mineral makes it possible to reduce production costs of ceramic pigments of widened color spectrum. The results of studying color characteristics of the pigments by spectrophotometry are given.
