Abstract

The pressure and velocity fields around a spark ignited in a Plexiglas sample are calculated on the basis of the hydrodynamic model by numerical methods, with experimental data used to formulate the boundary conditions. These boundary conditions are specified as the expansion function of the spark channel, determined by streak photography of the channel.
