Abstract

The paper describes the experimental investigation of catalytic thermal biomass conversion, which is a way to obtain the gaseous fuel most convenient for incineration - syngas. The objective of the pilot research was the selection of furnace-charge and identification of its influence on the resulting syngas qualitative and quantitative structure at low temperatures of biomass conversion. Experiments carried out on the test bench. The efficiency criterion of the catalyst use and the filler was minimum temperature with highest combustible components concentration in the generated syngas. Paper experimentally proves deep conversion of organic feedstock to be possible using the Fe2O3 as a catalyst.
