Abstract
The results of morphological and phase analyses of ultrafine powder obtained by ablation of aluminium and steel targets by a pulsed high-power ion beam are presented in the paper. The beam parameters: ion energy of 350 keV, current density of 250-300 A/cm 2, pulse duration of 60 ns. The dimensions of obtained particles are in the range from 2.5 up to 700 nm. The data of angular separation of particles from a target are presented. An angle in which the main fraction of particles propagates is 30-40°.
