Power characteristics of induction motors at core length changing

Abstract

Mathematical simulation of induction motors is carried out at changing core length for estimation of power parameters. Power characteristics of induction motors are obtained for several calculation variants. Abundance of low-cost power resources for many years has generated a negative trend of power wastefulness. The power component of the cost price of many kinds of industrial and agricultural products has decreased to 1-3 % that has not given impetus to saving power resources. Old technology which is grounded on the overcharge of power resources was included in the projects of new large factories. Besides power wastefulness of industrial processes is caused by the significant share of out-of-date equipment, ineffective technological equipment, a high component of power consumption which is connected with manufacturing expenses [1].
