Plasma in a field of an intensive sound wave

Results of experimental investigations of sound waves influence on discharge parameters are cited. It is shown, that for a constant gas pressure increase of an intensity of the sound wave propagated along the discharge positive column results in a growth of discharge space resistance, diminution of gas temperature in plasma and enlargement of a diameter of a plasma column.
