Pigments based on iron and cobalt molybdophosphates for low-melting enamels

Abstract

The possibilities of using iron and cobalt molybdophosphates for tinting low-melting enamels were addressed. The precipitation of synthesized pigments on inorganic carriers such as MgO, ZnO, Al2O3, quartz sand, TiO2, milled porcelain, and natural fillers was investigated. Furthermore, the relationship between color purity and the weight of silica gel filler was characterized. By using the obtained pigments, the cost of enamel production was significantly lowered.
