Abstract

Physical and chemical processes of alloys formation under mechanical doping were studied using scanning and transmission electron microscopy methods. Under the treatment in triborator definite particles refining, their saturation with defects and partitial formation of defect substructure with high stress fields was found to be achieved. Due to these processes solid phase alloying take place with new Cu9Al4, α-Al2O3 and γ-Al2O3 phases formation on the internal interfaces. Residual oxygen is trapped on defects.
