Abstract
Photon induced pion production on Δ constituents in nuclei is investigated. We develop the non-relativistic operator of the γΔ++ → π+p process in an arbitrary frame. The calculated cross section of the 12C(γ, π+p) reaction is compared to existing experimental data.
