Abstract

We report on the main elements of design of a periodic-pulse relativistic magnetron supplied from an induction linac. Operating in a 10-cm wavelength range, the magnetron provides for a pulse power of 200 MW, an average power of up to 3 kW, and a pulse repetition rate of 320 Hz.
