Parallel commutation of discharges with roentgen radiation synchronization

    Abstract

    The paper presents the research results on the usage of one roentgen source both for initial preionization of the active gas volume of a laser and synchronized start up of dischargers. For preionization a source with quantum energy ≤50 keV was used. The circuit for the connection of capacitor battery with the general load through three-electrode discharges, being turned on parallely, has been tested. The authors investigate the optimal conditions, when discharges come into action with gas preionization being a significant.
