Optimal control problems of technological processes of high-temperature material processing

Abstract

The paper discusses the possibilities to apply methods of optimal control theory to thermal processing of materials and their surfaces. To analyze physico-mathematical models of technological processes, which take into account various physico-chemical processes, thus being multiparameter, we propose an approach based on the combination of dimension analysis and control theory for dynamic systems with distributed parameters. As an example we analyze a model of thermal processing of a plane layer of a material by induction heating.
