On the phase oscillation spectrum in CDW conductors

Abstract

By means of a kinetic approach based on the Keldysh technique the long-wave-length phason spectrum is calculated. It is shown that screening of the CDW charge by quasiparticles renders the phason spectrum soundlike with velocity depending on quasiparticle density.
