Abstract
East-Siberian Sea waters were estimated as potential source and/or drainage reservoir for excessive atmospheric CO2. For the studied region carbon dioxide fluxes in ocean-atmosphere system were calculated using cubic parametrization connecting CO2 fluxes with wind velocity taken with diurnal averaging. It is shown that the considered water area generally was carbon dioxide source to the atmosphere.
