Abstract
Electrophysical characteristics of quartz with a variety of types of radiation defects and characteristics of quartzites of various generations are determined by the relaxation of structural defects. They correlate with physical and chemical parameters of the geological medium. The possibility of classifying these characteristics by a set of morphotype signs has been shown. Data on the chemical composition and geochemical conditions, in addition to the investigation of electrophysical properties, confirm the conclusion about the sediment-metasomatic genesis of quartzites.
