Abstract
An investigation is conducted of the effect of the properties of the minerals and their concentration in the slurry on the process of decomposition of the working fluid (water) during electrochemical pulverization of ores and the interaction of the gaseous products with the minerals. In all cases the composition of the gaseous products is determined by the water decomposition process. Oxygen in the slurry reacts not only with easily oxidized sulfides, but also with ilmenite, the oxidation of which requires more severe conditions.
