The behaviour of grain boundaries of the special type in a material under high-rate shear loading is numerically studied. The two ways of modeled system evolution are revealed: (1) in high deformation rates, intensive reconstruction of the between-grain boundary occurs; (2) in loading intensity reduction, a relaxation process of energy pumped into a material is executed by the boundary displacement.
