Numerical modeling of heat transfer in a large room heated by a gas infrared emitter and with equipment located in it at different heights

Abstract

The results of the temperatures and velocities fields calculations in a room heated by a gas infrared emitter are presented taking into account the presence in the field of a radiant flux of a horizontal surface that simulates a laboratory table. The calculations performed in COMSOL Multiphysics provide an estimate of the effect of the presence of the laboratory equipment in the heating field on the characteristics of the heating process.
