Nondestructive electro-magnetic method for quality of runway inspection

Abstract

The aim of the paper is to propose an electromagnetic nondestructive method for testing the quality of runways. The method is based on the analysis of the parameters of electromagnetic responses of runways to impact excitation of their materials. By means of a preliminary obtained empirical dependence, connecting the response parameters with the mechanical strength of a runway material (concrete), is determined the runway quality.
