Abstract

The application of nanotechnologies and nanomaterials in welding production is reviewed. The methods of joining the materials with special properties are investigated; the application of nanopowders in fusion welding and surfacing is discussed. The aim of this procedure is to reduce the effect of stress concentrators (defects) and also of nanolayer films and foils in pressure welding.
