N2 - The results of research on three types of carbon nanofibers influence on an organism of Wistar rats at oral introduction with food in a dose of 500 mg per kilogram of a body weight within 14 days are presented. According to the results of electronic microscopy, carbon nanofibers had the following linear sizes: an average diameter is 85 nm and a length is about 5-50 μm. The influence of nanofibers on a histologic structure of stomach, intestines, and liver of rats is shown. The response to mechanical irritation is noted in signs as follows: raised mucus production, mucosal thickening, lymphoid follicles enlargement, vacuolation and necrosis in some cases.
