Abstract

A scheme is described for mounting a VMR-2 vacuum normal-incidence monochromator on the synchrotron radiation beam from a ″Sirius″ synchrotron, and for mounting a reflectometer to record reflection and photoemission spectra in the 5-30 ev vacuum ultraviolet region. A resolution of approximately 1 A was obtained for input and output slit widths 0. 05 mm.
