The changes in the phase composition, the microstress value, the size of the coherent scattering region, the hardness, and the coefficient of friction are studied for a (Ti,Cr)N solid solution deposited on the hard alloy T15K6 during its treatment with high-power pulsed ion beams having an energy density of 9-14 J/cm 2.
